About Clear Creek Nursery

Long before Clear Creek Nursery existed, Sean Olmsted (Owner of Clear Creek Nursery, Inc.) got his first business license back in the late eighties. It started with yard maintenance and eventually growing into Olmsted Land Development. With Sean’s self motivation and creativity he is the force of hundreds of beautiful landscape installations in the Kitsap and surrounding areas. Going from a small maintenance company to a full scale landscape business made Olmsted Land Development a well recognized and successful company. With hundreds of satisfied customers and spectacular landscapes, word of mouth grew Olmsted Land Development.  With the success of Olmsted Land Development, the need for a nursery emerged.  With the main focus on supplying the plant material necessary for landscaping jobs, the idea was to start a retail nursery, that way the customer could have a place to come see the plants on their landscape plan in person instead of on a plant list.  

In late 1997, Clear Creek Nursery was up for sale, at the time it was a small nursery and hardly anyone knew it existed. Clear Creek Nursery had many owners in the past, and several different names. Sean Olmsted and his wife, Veronica jumped at the opportunity and bought Clear Creek Nursery in March of 1998.  With the help of Sean’s brothers, Josh and Matt were able to take over the supervision of Olmsted Land Development. Sean and Veronica both felt this jump would be a great move. 

Clear Creek Nursery became an instant success with the general public and supplying plants for the landscaping company. As Clear Creek Nursery grew from four and a half acres to twelve acres it became a full service nursery. In 2004, Olmsted Land Development was incorporated into Clear Creek Nursery. Now under one name, Clear Creek Nursery can provide a full service business, from Landscape Design to Landscape Installation, and the little touches that make a house a home. Clear Creek Nursery also houses a growing operation, to bring high quality plants grown locally by our specialists.  

Sean and Veronica Olmsted, are both very extremely creative people, and are always finding ways to make their business secede to its best. Their demand is to deliver the best in every aspect of the business. Their best advertising tool? Word of mouth by satisfied customers and clients.
